I recently learned about this program, and because I was so clueless to what was going on outside of our country I thought I'd share it with all of you in case you were unaware too. This is not a chain letter, but I do encourage you to pass it on to anyone you know. This is simply me trying to do what I can for a cause which seems so far away, but still pulls on my heart.

Invisible Children is a documentary about a twenty-one year war happening in northern Uganda which has turned to taking children off of the street and then training them into soldiers. This war has ravaged the country and left very few safe places for those who want to stay out of a corrupt civil war. This is your chance to help someone who you'll never meet, to stand up for humanity in a way that we read about, because if the last generation was known as the greatest generation for sacrificing for war, what will we be known as for sacrificing for peace? (Last part isn't my own words.)

All the information you need is at this site [link] so please take the ten minutes out of your chatting, surfing, working, talking, or sitting to look at what is happening to people in another country. Then pause for one second and think, what if you had been born there? Or what if your kids were growing up there right now? Wouldn't you want people to be helping you? If you can't afford to give money then why not give time? At least take the effort to send this to those who you know, so that they too can learn about something which hasn't received the media which is deserves.

Please, repost this, email this, write this, talk about this, blog it, shout it, text it, or do whatever it is you all do in order to pass this to others.
